Tomas Gordon


In 2008, Tomas Gordon founded ClearOne Advantage with the mission to help people find financial freedom and regain control in the midst of the economy and job market rollercoasters. He brings more than 20 years of experience in executive management, board and investor relations, financial management, and business development to the role of ClearOne Advantage’s Chief Executive Officer.

As a leading specialty finance executive, Gordon has a proven record of helping companies flourish, even in the most challenging economic and business environments. Since founding ClearOne Advantage, Gordon has grown the company to one of the top three companies in the debt consolidation industry, while developing an award-winning work environment. Recently, ClearOne Advantage was named a “Top Workplace” by the Baltimore Sun, a “Best Place to Work” finalist by the Baltimore Business Journal, and a “Top 50 Best Companies to Sell For” by Selling Power Magazine.

In order to grow to the company’s reach and team, Gordon focuses on producing innovative marketing strategies, developing industry advanced technology, and generating new business opportunities and partnerships.

Gordon also encourages the company’s impact to extend throughout its communities. Through the company’s “ClearOne Advantage Cares” initiative, he encourages the team to support local organizations and causes that align with ClearOne Advantage’s values: advocating for financial literacy, elevating standards and quality of life, and empowering the disadvantaged in our communities.

In 2020, Gordon launched the Consumer Debt Relief Initiative, partnering with other consumer credit advocates to assist consumers in reducing credit card debt and avoiding bankruptcy. He serves as Board Member of the Entrepreneurial Leadership program at the University of Delaware “HORN Foundation” and was a Finalist for Ernest & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2012.

Prior to ClearOne Advantage, Gordon led companies through start-up, survival and growth modes, managing multimillion-dollar operations with highly successful exits on multiple businesses. His core strength is in specialty finance services where he implements innovative online and offline direct-to-consumer marketing strategies that consistently exceed profit, revenue and corporate expectations.

Gordon served in the U.S. Army Infantry, stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia, as well as the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea and 101st Airborne Division. He holds a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Delaware
